Love

I dunno if there is any book written with this title, and I dont care either. I am anyways going to write this blog entry. But trust me, I incidently stopped writing a book coz the title and contents were matching with a book of some female called Rowling or something. So here's something about love. Nobody is an exception, everybody is game to these four letters (In smses though people now write luv). So read on.........

Good Things About Love

The feeling itself is beautiful. Its just nice being in love. There is someone for you who cares, thinks about you (for her you are a hero, even though if you are my look alike), wishes that you are happy (and calls up everyday, believe me thats a big kill time aid). I have seen people changing their dressing habits, there is a change in the people themselves (for good of course), and there is a change in thier life styles (and the pockets, where there is only some change left). There lies a person who is ready to share things, happiness, gloom, casual chats and most important for all these, time. It'll teach you how to lie (if not to your girl-friend, to your parents friends, etc). So comrades, there is nothing wrong, enjoy the feeling and get going.

Not So Good Things About Love

Love is responsible for most of Celiene Dion songs, most pusblic utterances of Micheal Jackson, Valentine's Day, prevailing poverty (I have plundered this line from a book) and not to forget the state of distress that you are in right now. It will make you wear expensive clothes, give expensive gifts, and bear all the tantrums of them. All the crap will end in either girl saying no, or her parents saying no, or your parents saying no (and even if you marry, there are high chances of divorce). You have to go with the most commonly used sentence all the time "As you say, sweet heart". And dont wonder if in todays world you are told even to keep a personal blog editor. So chuck the idea itself from the very begining.

I know most of you are already into this, so no need advicing you guys (and moreover nobody takes my advice). Actually, had nothing to do, so published this entry. No need to comment.

Luck is on Vacation

The things that start good end up bad.
The things that start bad end up worse.
The things that start worse, expectedly end turning worst.
And finally the things that start worst, do not end.

Ode to Year 2005

'A Very Happy New Year' to the few readers of my blog. Million thanks for typing the link in the 'about blank' slot & clicking 'Enter' despite the second thought. (One of my friends said that he'll make no sin in year 2006, so he won't do the specified action ever)

This entry is for sharing few interesting events of year 2005 (Might be interesting to me only, but like I care)

1) 31st Night 2004: No parties for me, just a casual hangout as a very good friend of mine (And very good looking too) ditched me at the end moment. On 1st Jan she called up saying sorry for the fourth time and asking what did I do on the previous evening. A song (In hoarse voice) from movie Ram Lakhan slipped by from the other end of the line.."Tuje yaad kiya...o..o.. Tera naam liya...o..o"

2) Chintan Kanani aka Jeetu was the first to leave amongst all the friends from ahmedabad. People develop affiliation even for a dog if it stays with them for a month. And Jeetu was a crafted compromise between Man & Dog (More on man side). Moreover, I had stayed with him for three years, so tears filled my eyes (I had other reasons too, he just kindled the fire)

3) I was at Rajkot on 10th of Jan. There were placements on 11th and 12th at college, Ahmedabad. Still jobless, I booked my tickets to the venue. I also asked one of my friends to check with our placement department if I had made a hit with previous company as results were due. She called up to deliver the good news (That female is lucky for me) & I cancelled my tickets (IR is the best firm to work with, apart from the politics, but u got to learn that also, I am happy I failed in my previous interviews)

4) 15th of Jan: Vasi Sankrant (For crazy Amdavadis, kite flying day lasts for two days) All mechanical Guys and Gals at Parth's place, maninagar. I held a record of 70:4 kites (I flied seventy and could cut only 4). Viral was at its usual best (heights of dumbness) & Darshil and Shriraj kept the atmosphere live the whole day

Meanwhile, I shifted to a new place near Vastrapur and met Mit, Jay and Gandhi (Now few of the dearmost friends of mine)

5) 13th of Feb: Gajjar family of Rajkot finally found a six feet three hen to slaughter from Gajjar family of Ahmedabad. One of the happiest days of my life, didi decided to tie knot with Ashutosh jij (Who is now one of the most cherished member of my family). One more thing, he was the first guy I went to see on behalf of my family along with the lucky friend of mine.

6) 18th of Feb - Hell shocking and personal

7) March - April: Someone proposed on a long distance call. I said no, more concerned bout the money I will have to waste on long distance calls if I say 'Yes'

The Abu Episode: Seedling of the idea of trip was in Abhishek's mind, but we ended up going without him for some reasons. I almost lost (read broke up with) my two best friends in the process. I am just happy I can now write almost, coz I haven’t lost them. But Abu was brilliant, Abhivandan acted childish, Viral got the new nick 'Bhalu', Sindhi kept a low profile but pulled almost everyone’s legs, Darshil and Shriraj got into a melee. And the trip was amazing, most enjoyable with night safaris and cricket on FLAT PITCH.

8) May - First Half of June: College days were getting over, slogging for submissions on, then the university exams and sadly, the people had started parting. Mass crying was part and parcel of every single day. I didn't used to cry except for when Mit and Jay left. The preparations for didi and jij marriage were at peak

9) Second Half of June: Parted from few best friends but had few most memorable days with them. 26th of June was didi's marriage. Happiest day of my life (Jaan chhuti is what we call in Gujarati). And I departed for Banaglore on 28th

10) 1st July & 15th July: First day of my job and my B'day respectively. On the former all that was going in my mind was how much competition will other GETs put up before getting onto knees in front of me. And for the later, it was the surprise party

11) October: The first week was fabulous with Navratri goin on and especially the two days in ahmedabad.
9th of October: Shocking, highly personal and highly pleasant

12) November 19th: Anticipated, personal and very unpleasant

13) 31st of December: Party with folks (LOL!!!! Don't ask whom does the term 'folks' include). Guitar from Ashish. Police on G.N.Shetty road and life in complete mess.

You might have noticed that nothing is been written for last few months, actually nothing has happened for last few months, once you get into job, life is like that.

Anyways, for the fantastic year that I had, I would like to thank my late Nana & Nani, Dad, Mom, Sisi & Jij. Nilam Masi, Vaju Masa, Nayna Masi & Raju Masa for their relentless support to my family

Amongst friends Batti, Jeetu, Mit, Jay, Gandhi, Daru, Abhishek, Vandan, Sindhi, Bhalu, Tako, Newton, Ankur, Vatsy, Shanky, Satyam, Jay, Pulkit, Prakash... and all the female friends whose names I dont want to mention and all others i have missed unintentionally.

Lastly to Great God, Thank You Ji, who was with me for 80% of the year and for the rest he made me learn the importance of that 80%

So there ends the year, with more sweet than bitter memories, more happiness than gloom, lots of joy and fun, and penchant for beer, please note that I am not responsible for misplaced property, political unrest, mis spelt words, bad punctuation and the economy.
